THE ALTERNATIVE TO MAINTREAM RADIO

Gold Standard Radio started broadcasting on 31 December 2024.   The Auto DJ will operate while we are establishing the station and securing quality DJs for vacant slots.

Gold Standard Radio will be featuring exclusive interviews.   We also play the latest and greatest from all genres of music from around the world. Our DJs are experts at curating playlists that will hopefully, keep you engaged all day long. 

We are seeking experienced DJs/Presenters, who own high standard equipment, who have an expansive  selection of music, and have good presentation and technical skills.

You will need to pay a non-refundable administrative fee of  £10 (or its sterling equivalent), to ensure your track has an ISRC code (which is an International Standard Recording Code for recorded music), and ensures that PPL/PRS will be able to identify your track to award royalties.  The fee also includes checking that metadata has been embedded,  that the quality of recorded material is adequate, and that you have submitted the name of the artist and release date.

A nominal fee of £20 (or sterling equivalent) per month, by standing order or direct debit, is required to join Gold Standard Radio.

Gold Standard Radio encourages DJs to play all genres of music, from any part of the world, that is consistent with their unique identity and culture, however, speciality shows are also encouraged.

Gold Standard Radio intends to promote 'hard-to -reach' tracks, that are either rare, interesting of just different.

Gold Standard Radio is dedicated to delivering high-quality content and a gold standard listening experiences to our audience. 

Gold Standard Radio does not provide equipment,  however, our technician can suggest which equipment is compatible/ suitable or necessary, with the expectation that you are technically savvy.  Our Sound Engineer can guide you through the set up of recommended equipment only.

 DJs/Presenters may advertise non-related Gold Standard Radio events/shows, however,  Gold Standard Radio would require a donation of 10% for any fee  received for such promotions.   

 

Anyone with an ethical brand, and a solid reputation.  Once established, Gold Standard Radio intends to sponsor a variety of events, including music festivals and shows.
